President
Gordon Alleyne is the President of Project Discovery Guyana and a former student of Mackenzie High School, where he completed both CSEC and CAPE. He earned the Arts Achievers Award as the Best Male Student in his CSEC Arts stream and placed 6th in Region 10 (Linden) at the CAPE level.
At 21 years old, Gordon currently works as a Legal Clerk for a private attorney and is actively pursuing a career in law. After gaining experience through CARYFED and seeing firsthand what Project Discovery represents, Gordon has vowed to further develop the Guyana chapter and strengthen it into one of the strongest pillars within the Project Discovery family.
Guided by his favorite Bible verse, 2 Corinthians 5:7 — “For we walk by faith, not by sight,” Gordon approaches leadership and life with purpose. Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, he enjoys driving, listening to music, and playing Call of Duty.

Tonya is a 21 year old Industrial Technology educator at Mackenzie High School. She is also advancing her academic career by pursuing an associate degree at Cyril Potter College of Education. In addition to her studies, Tonya demonstrates leadership qualities as the First Vice President of “Project Discovery Guyana”, she also serves her country as a Reservist in the National Cadet Corps, and balances her commitments with part time work as an electrician.
Her interests extend beyond academics to include dancing, acting, and creative craftsmanship. She consistently applies her leadership, teamwork, and communication skills and aspires to use this new position as an opportunity to contribute meaningfully while refining these competencies.

Jael Howard is a vibrant and determined 20-year-old who currently thrives as a solar apprentice at Guyana Power and Light-GUYSOL, where she immerses herself in the dynamic field of renewable energy. With a keen interest in science and a growing passion for environmental studies, Jael holds an Associate Degree in Natural Science, which has fuelled her ambition to pursue advanced education in these areas. Her ultimate aspiration is to become a neurologist, where she aims to explore the complexities of the human brain while leveraging her scientific and environmental knowledge to contribute to holistic health solutions.
In her role at GUYSOL, Jael diligently hones her technical expertise while contributing to sustainable energy initiatives, showcasing her ability to blend practical skills with her academic interests. Her unique perspective is driven by a curiosity for understanding how environmental factors influence health, motivating her to pursue a career that bridges neuroscience and ecological awareness. Outside of work, Jael enjoys delving into innovative research and engaging in activities that expand her understanding of the natural and medical worlds. She aims to leverage her current experience to deepen her expertise, aspiring to create a legacy of groundbreaking neurological care and environmental advocacy, while inspiring others to pursue interdisciplinary passions.

My name is Delly-Ann Joseph, and I am 16 years old, currently attending the Christianburg Wismar Secondary School. My strong interest in business studies and finance inspires my ambition to become an accountant. This passion, along with my keen sense of responsibility makes the suited for the role of Treasurer. I am willing to develop my skills in record keeping and financial management.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy dancing and watching sports. I’ll continue to grow as a disciplined and motivated individual committed to learning.
Vinesha JosephCommunications Officer 1
Vinesha Joseph is a 20-year-old student at the University of Guyana, where she is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health, majoring in Occupational Health and Safety. Simultaneously, she is also pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in General Management with a specialization in Operations Management at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, India. She previously earned an Associate’s Degree in Natural Sciences, where her interest in environmental awareness and public health first developed.
Vinesha currently serves as the Communications Officer of Project Discovery Guyana, where she is passionate about connecting people through effective communication and creative outreach. She joined the organization to collaborate with other young leaders and contribute to meaningful change through education, advocacy, and community engagement. Through her role, she aims to strengthen the organization’s public presence and encourage greater youth involvement in social and environmental initiatives.
Looking ahead, Vinesha hopes to build a career in Guyana’s mining sector, focusing on improving workplace safety and advancing environmentally sustainable practices across the industry.
Outside of her academic and leadership pursuits, Vinesha enjoys dancing, hiking, reading, baking, and arts and crafts—activities that allow her to express her creativity and maintain balance in her life. She also enjoys meeting new people and embracing new experiences. A verse she lives by is Philippians 4:6, which says, “Worry about nothing, pray about everything.”
Alleyia McKenzieCommunications Officer 2
Alleyia Mckenzie, was born on 29th April,2006. From a young age she showed a keen interest in nursing which would later shape her life’s work. This early passion led her to pursue her education, laying the foundation for a remarkable career. Throughout her life Ms. Mckenzie has been known for volunteering and making a difference and also being able to help with first aid at second hand.
A dynamic and vibrant communications officer with a passion for fostering meaningful connections and promoting the mission of the Jamaica Foundation. She has strong communication skills and a fresh perspective to her role, supporting initiatives that highlight the Foundation’s impact and engage diverse audiences. With enthusiasm and professionalism, she is committed to advancing the Foundation’s vision through strategic outreach. Passionate about community engagement and cultural development, she uses communication as a bridge to inspire pride, participation and positive change.
Esinam Kissoon-McNeilCommunications Officer 3
Esinam is a 15 year old student at President's College, the school of excellence. She is the Vice President of her school, this has given her the exposure to leadership and public speaking. She enjoys playing football, dancing and playing the steelpan instrument. Esinam Joined the Project Discovery Guyana under the fellow ship of Ms Vanessa Kissoon. She seeks to improve her communication skills and leadership qualities. This outgoing and passionate young lady is a proud daughter of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and holds the scripture Phillipians verse 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" very close to her heart.
Reuben LambertAssistant Treasurer
I am Reuben Lambert, a 17-year-old student with a strong passion for volleyball. Through sports, I have learned discipline, teamwork, and resilience. My faith guides my character and outlook on life, reminding me to remain compassionate and grounded. I strive to grow both personally and athletically as I prepare for the future, holding on to the promise: "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." Matthew 21:22.`
